I don't really update my journal much, do I? Lol
Anyways, how's everyone's summer been so far? I haven't really been very productive,(creatively speaking) I've been lounging around and doodling. Lol. I go back to school as a freshman this year, starting August 18th. I've only got a week to do something before my freedom is over! I really want to be productive, I want to start some portraits, and finish them. I also still want to write some more songs, and I need to reread a book for school. I finished it during the end of school, but the summer's sun has fried my brain and now I just need to refresh my memory. We all have to take a test on it when we start school again, and I don't want to fail a test right in the beginning of the school year, lol. I need some creative energy to get myself going. I get inspiration all the time, but I just need a little motivation! : )

Other things that happened this summer that I'm proud of:
1.I finished a book.
2.I wrote maybe 3 or 4 new songs.
3.I went to the zoo and saw a llama! :3
4.I got a tan! (It's so difficult because of my Irish/Scottish skin.It's immune to the sun's rays. There's not enough Italian in my skin.)
5.I was introduced to L4D, and Fallout 3!
I think that is it! Exciting, huh? Lol

Hey! I tried tea for the first time, and it's Irish tea. My moms friend is from Ireland and she comes to visit us every now and then! :]She brings tea with her, haha! I added some honey, well, a LOT of honey, and some cream! xD It was bitter, but I calmed it down a bit xD. It's pretty good so far!
Also, I wanted to talk about Australia, because I've been doing some research on it! I would really love to live there one day because the weather and the beaches are beautiful. Not only that, but it's full of wild life, :]. I really like the people from there as well. If I were to pick the city where I would live, I might want to live in Sydney! If you have any information on Australia, I'd love to talk with you about it!
I also really like the instrument Didgeridoo, and the music from Australia is wonderful! I just watched the movie Australia last weekend, and I really liked it. I also love the Aboriginal people, and their culture. The art is beautiful as well. :]
I just have one question, what exactly IS Vegemite? Lol
So, yeah I just wanted to talk about that xD

OH! And, I worked on another Heath Ledger portrait today, so I'll get that up soon. I just need to finish it up a bit!

And for the Joker contest, I hope to be doing that as well, I just haven't gotten around to it! ^_^

1:When I was younger, I have always wanted to be Lara Croft Tomb Raider! xD

2: I've always had a passion for singing and music, and my dream career is to become a recording artist.

3: My favorite era of time would have to be either Medieval or Romans/Greeks time. :]

5: I love roller coasters and anything that's a thrill, and I would love to learn how to rock climb. Any sport or activity that has that kind of thrill would be amazing! ^_^

6: I love animals, they are just wonderful! They act almost like humans if you observe them and hang around them enough! I've grown up with them ever since I was little, and can't get enough of them!

7: I actually have a silly sense of humor, I act really goofy all the time! I don't really take myself too seriously most of the time!

8: I'm the only one in my family that has hazel eyes! They can change to green, to brown to in between. Like a gold moss color, LOL!

So, I was looking through my messages today, and saw that was having a contest about "The Joker Dark Knight"
I really am thinking about entering, just 'cause I think it will be so much fun to draw The Joker again using more originality! I was wanting to draw him again with my own idea, but never really got around to it. This just gives me more motivation to do it! ^_^
ALSO!! My mom had seen some charcoal pencils and she bought them for me! I'm so excited to use them! They are really messy, so I have to be careful xD
I've been wanting some of them to make backgrounds and just for better quality portraits and all that jazz.
